Dr. Tarin’s scholarly activities have extended across 49 years, and he has contributed to all aspects of the intellectual spectrum, namely personal research activity, teaching, clinical work and administration at nine universities in the United States and Europe. He has also contributed to the furtherance of his field of scholarship by participation in

• Activities of scientific societies
• Editorship of scientific and medical periodicals
• Organization of international research meetings
• Peer review of the work of professional colleagues

He is also in frequent demand as a lecturer at major medical and research institutions in the U.S., Europe and Japan, and as a keynote and plenary speaker at international symposia.
