Advanced Directives, Cancer, End of life, Prostate Cancer, Underserved Communities
Dr. Rosenblatt is very interested in doing clinical research through his work as a Family and Preventive Medicine (FPM) physician and residency faculty in Chula Vista, specifically focusing on underserved populations, and connectedness within the community. Previously, he has developed a protocol and survey to assess prostate cancer screening in Vietnamese and Latino populations in a clinic and community setting.
His goals and objectives are to promote learning in the FPM inpatient setting, including: 1) community/underserved populations; 2) end of life care issues, especially the use of advanced directives, and 3) men’s health, particularly focusing upon prostate cancer screening in the community setting.
Dr. Rosenblatt is developing a pilot research program in the areas noted above.
