Advocacy and Support Groups
Studies at Stanford University have shown that patients who participate in support groups lived longer than those who were not assisted by a support group. We know that people who use mind/body approaches feel better, have a better quality of life and frequently live longer.
We offer the support groups below through our non-profit, the San Diego Cancer Research Institute. These groups are open to all cancer patients in San Diego County. For more information, see the Integrative Medicine calendar for more information, or call 760-536-7700 (Encinitas) or 760-536-7737 (Vista) to register and verify dates and times.
